Each episode seems to build on the previous, but this seemed to be the most significant turning point with some hardened evidence that is hard to look the other way from.

Volume 9’s tale unfolds under the watchful eye of Rooster Teeth, which found its nest within the cinematic empire of Warner Bro. Discover. Entering the RWBY universe for the first time, my anticipation was like a blank script awaiting the words of a world I had never ventured into. Please remember that this is the only portion of the RWBY universe I have seen. The series, named after the initials of its vibrant characters - Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long, has traversed a long path from a humble idea in 2013 to a storytelling leviathan. With nine volumes and a cascade of comic and manga adaptations, the narrative allure it presents is quite irresistible. The series delivers a canvas rich in emotional hues and adventurous streaks.

Venturing into the enigmatic hallways of SURREALESTATE, we find ourselves on a fantastical adventure that oscillates between the realms of the real and the spectral. The series explores the narrative of a peculiar real estate agency, the Roman Agency, that has carved a niche in dealing with haunted properties. The first and second seasons take us through this agency's eerie yet amusing exploits with a refreshing gust of humor mingled with horror.

The original two CREEPSHOW films were a dream project for a group of horror icons led by George Romero and Stephen King. The films brought the classic EC horror comics to life in film. Each anthology film featured several shorts written, directed, and often starring icons of horror. The films are highly stylized, with each segment ending in comic book style with vivid colors, comic art, and over the top lighting, and Dutch angles. Both films featured some fantastic short stories and, yes, a few shorts that don’t quite land. That’s kind of the nature of an anthology film or series.

CONVICTING A MURDERER rides the wave of modern-day investigative docuseries, but it navigates through an ocean murkier and more enigmatic than most. The series kickstarts its journey with a profound dive into the shadowy narrative surrounding Steven Avery's case. With its inaugural episode setting the ground, the sixth episode titled "The Key & the License Plate Call" thrusts the narrative into a whirlpool of skepticism and unnerving revelations.

Let's face it; taking a stroll down cinematic memory lane can be a tricky endeavor. Spin-offs are seldom met with consistent praise, but that should change now! Enter THE CONTINENTAL: FROM THE WORLD OF JOHN WICK, which navigates the world of 1970s New York City and leaves us marveling at the grandeur of an old hotel. Instead of just flashing glimpses of familiar sights, the series entices us into the hidden alleys of young Winston Scott's life, portrayed brilliantly by Colin Woodell, as we pull back the curtains of the infamous hotel's enigmatic beginnings.

As we enter the realm of CONVICTING A MURDERER's fifth episode, "Manitowoc's Web," the story unfolds further into an intricate puzzle centering around Steven Avery. No sidelined as an ancillary portion of the story, the Manitowoc Sheriff's Department claims a central role, hinting at being more involved than previously let on, especially when a $36 million lawsuit looms large over Manitowoc County.

Ever wondered how the picturesque world of Melbourne could turn into a backdrop for a gripping emotional saga? Lee Galea, known for his sharp cinematic vision, gives us just that in SINGLE OUT. Here, the audience is invited on a journey led by Adam, an individual striving to find himself amidst a whirlpool of emotions, discoveries, and, yes, those pesky twists in life that you don’t see coming. Credit goes to Will Hutchins, who brings Adam to life, allowing his raw emotions and vulnerability to resonate with the audience.

Returning to when Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, and Christy Turlington were more than glamour shots and magazine spreads. They were shaping history, one fierce strut at a time. Apple TV+'s THE SUPER MODELS invites viewers on this whirlwind adventure, highlighting how these dazzling divas weren’t just hanging pretty in showrooms but were setting fashion's gold standard.

Dive into the captivating universe of the Roy dynasty with HBO's SUCCESSION. Here, the towering media colossus, Waystar RoyCo, is the stage, and Logan Roy's looming decision to possibly step down is the main event we’re focused on. But brace yourself: this isn't your typical family feud or corporate saga. It's an intricately crafted story of ambition's highs and lows, the ties that bind (or sometimes strangle), and humanity's ever-shifting ethical dance.

The narrative of this true crime story continues to unfold when they transport us through intricate plot paths where every nook and cranny springs a surprise. Episode 4 of CONVICTING A MURDERER: SHIFTING TIMELINES stands tall as a testament to this very art of storytelling.

To be entirely transparent, I’ve only screened the first three episodes of the series, so there are still seven parts to go; my opinions in the following review will be based on the content of those first three episodes and my potential thoughts of where the series may end up. As with most documentaries, I can’t guarantee the content's accuracy; these productions aren’t held to any ethics code. That being said, I was shocked; this genuinely feels (for the most part) like a heartfelt attempt at trying to get to the truth. I haven’t seen the Netflix documentary, so I can’t compare the two and what they agree and disagree on.

When Hazel, portrayed with finesse by Ashleigh Murray, enters the scene, things drastically change when Hazel’s sudden changes within the company cause a shade of uncertainty and some new revelations for Nella.

Navigating the intricate hallways of animation evolution, TINY TOONS LOONIVERSITY is a spirited revival that seamlessly blends the essence of the good ol’ days with the vibrant narratives of today. Welcome to our first semester of college as we walk onto the campus of Acme Looniversity, our familiar cast of toons all starting their first year as “college” freshmen.

The streets of Kasselton, New Jersey, are a mental puzzle; Mickey Bolitar, portrayed by Jaden Michael, is our guide to putting these pieces together. HARLEY QUINN is still my favorite adult animated series… ever. I don’t say this lightly, as I love SOUTH PARK, RICK AND MORTY, and even classics like DRAWN TOGETHER. So I don’t say that without much thought, but this series brings something others haven’t. They’ve taken an established character that was well known and turned her up to eleven. We all thought, and maybe even assumed, that this is Harley's life behind the scenes, but there’s something special about seeing that unhinged reality unedited.

Lights, camera, action! Step into the intriguing world of WARTIME GIRLS, where the relentless waves of World War II crash against the shores of the human spirit. This compelling saga captures the essence of three fearless women—Irka, the refined nurse; Ewa, the savvy fugitive; and Marysia, the well-heeled violinist. With an insider's view, we find ourselves lost in their interwoven narratives, learning about their shared challenges and victories.

Buckle up, folks; as we steer into the sun-drenched boulevards of Los Angeles, Linas Phillips takes us on a captivating journey through his original comedy series, THE RIDE. This is different from your typical drive through the city. At the wheel, we find Wayne, a middle-aged Uber driver, played by Phillips, who'd prefer to be rated on spiritual breakthroughs than punctuality or driving skills.

For two decades plus, THE VENTURE BROS., an animated marvel birthed by Chris McCulloch (also known as "Jackson Publick") and Doc Hammer for Cartoon Network's late-night programming block Adult Swim, has held a prominent place in the hearts of its viewers. Despite numerous hiatuses between seasons, it's storytelling prowess and superior production value have never ceased to enthrall. Now I had planned to have my coverage up closer to the release date. I had never watched an episode, so I set out on the binge of a lifetime, basically watching Venture Bros. nonstop whenever I wasn’t at work. I had no clue what I was in for, and I can happily say it was the best week of binging I can remember!

RAVING REVIEW: PLATONIC is a hilarious venture into adult friendships as we follow the wild lives of the primary characters, Sylvia (Rose Byrne) and Will (Seth Rogen). The series takes us on an emotional journey filled with comedy coupled with the nuance of character exploration and evolution.

RAVING REVIEW: Bringing the clones of CLONE HIGH out of suspended animation is like prying open a vault brimming with nostalgia, storytelling, and humor; the two-decade hiatus seems to have been a pause worth enduring. We have been welcomed back to campus and the ensuing chaos of an offbeat school, home to clones of historical figures conceptualized by the inventive trio of Phil Lord, Chris Miller, and Bill Lawrence.

RAVING REVIEW: It's time to plunge into the depths of THE CLEARING, an eight-part psychological drama that will take you into this world inspired by real-life cults worldwide. Based on J.P. Pomare's 'In The Clearing,' this series showcases the chilling reality of what happens in these closed-off societies. This may be the closest that you ever get to being a member.

RAVING REVIEW: HIGH DESERT is a series that is a multi-faceted mix of drama, mystery, and comedy, all wrapped up in eccentricity that makes it uniquely engaging, even with some bumps in the road. The series' success will undoubtedly come from the performance of Patricia Arquette, who embodies the character of Peggy, a woman dealing with constant personal chaos.

RAVING REVIEW: Jada Pinkett Smith, as Executive Producer, brings us an engaging “documentary” series that examines the stories of legendary African Queens. This season, the enigmatic Queen Cleopatra VII takes center stage, a figure famed for her charm and romantic encounters but whose true strength lies in her razor-sharp intellect, often obscured by her notoriety. The series explores her life, political savvy, and the ongoing debate surrounding her ancestry.

RAVING REVIEW: Netflix's new series, KING OF COLLECTIBLES: THE GOLDIN TOUCH, gives viewers a look into the world of rare collectibles and sports memorabilia. RAVING REVIEW: Venturing into television for the first time, Valérie Donzelli, in collaboration with Clémence-Madeleine Perdrillat, brings us the enchanting French TV series NONA AND HER DAUGHTERS. I will also mention, for anyone hesitant about subtitles, a half-hour TV show is a beautiful way to dip your toe in the water without committing to a full hour and a half plus movie. Not to mention that MHz Choice is offering a seven-day trial now!

RAVING REVIEW: It's been a few years since PRIMAL's first season captivated its audience and broke new ground in modern adult animation. It's time to see if the second season has managed to step up its game, delivered more of the same, or went backward in quality.

RAVING REVIEW: Hulu's latest venture, SAINT X, is a psychological thriller inspired by Alexis Schaitkin's novel. It follows the puzzling mystery of a young woman on a Caribbean vacation, which drives her sister to seek the truth. While I haven’t read the book, I could feel the roots of what the book would have been in following the series narrative.

RAVING REVIEW: True crime brought to life in LOVE & DEATH creates a world that perfectly emulates the period setting. This narrative peels back the layers of a seemingly peaceful Wylie, Texas, revealing the sinister undercurrents of infidelity, brutality, and emotional chaos. The series is based on the book "Evidence of Love: A True Story of Passion and Death in the Suburbs" and a collection of articles from Texas Monthly, which looked into the chilling murder of Betty Gore.

RAVING REVIEW: As any of you who read my reviews regularly know, I don’t dive into spoilers. However, tackling this without the most base-level spoiler possible would be nearly impossible. RAVING REVIEW: In the captivating limited series THE LAST THING HE TOLD ME, we're drawn into the journey between Hannah (Jennifer Garner) as she battles to form a bond with her teenage stepdaughter, Bailey (Angourie Rice), all while dealing with the perplexing mystery of her husband's sudden disappearance. Adapted from a best-selling novel, this creative work is the brainchild of Laura Dave (author) and Josh Singer.

RAVING REVIEW: FINDING JOY, a hilarious comedy series, showcases the versatile Amy Huberman as a journalist who unintentionally becomes a social media influencer. With its meta take on comedy, captivating character dynamics, and the unique humor brought by Joy's dog (yep, you read that right,) the show never ceases to amuse its audience. This is incredibly random, and I don’t have a lot to back up my theory but there was something about this series that just stuck with me, especially season one. It felt like had Ellen Muth’s character from the series DEAD LIKE ME “George” didn’t become a grim reaper, this would’ve been her adult life. This is in spirit only since they are in no way connected and George isn’t Irish either.

RAVING REVIEW: Welcome to PRETTY LITTLE LIARS: ORIGINAL SIN, the newest teen horror genre franchise addition. The show is set in Millwood, Pennsylvania, where a group of girls is haunted by an unknown assailant seeking vengeance for past sins. The catch is that the girls are unaware of the sins or who committed them. As someone who has never seen any previous entries in the franchise, ORIGINAL SIN is a welcoming starting point to this world, and I never felt lost.

RAVING REVIEW: Mel Brooks, the comedic genius behind some of Hollywood's most iconic parodies, has finally gifted us with the long-awaited follow-up to his classic film, HISTORY OF THE WORLD, PART I. The eight-episode series combines “educational” and comedic sketches, each providing a unique twist on humanity's most iconic moments. The show's sketches are expertly crafted and vary in length, with some spanning multiple episodes.

RAVING REVIEW: Are you ready to journey through time with THE SERPENT QUEEN? This captivating series tells the story of Catherine de Medici, one of the most powerful monarchs in French history, with historical accuracy and a modern twist. The show's unique approach to storytelling through flashbacks provides a deeper understanding of Catherine's character, while the stunning sets and intricate costumes transport you back in time.

RAVING REVIEW: The upcoming American science fiction mystery drama series, THE ARK, is set to debut on Syfy on February 1, 2023. This story follows the trials and tribulations of Ark One, a spacecraft on a mission to find a new planet for humanity to inhabit. When a catastrophic event leads to a massive loss of life, the remaining crew must become their best selves to survive the journey and complete their mission.

RAVING REVIEW: A new series that focuses on the darker side of the world of Playboy. Taking a look into the world that larger went unexplored, we get to see the stories behind the faces of this giant. I wasn’t sure what to expect with this, but I was hooked after watching the first episode. I can’t wait to see the other stories unfold.

RAVING REVIEW: Season two of HOW I MET YOUR FATHER is climbing at a quick pace! The comedic timing is improving, and the cast is starting to gel. We’ve already had a big tease to tie into HIMYM, and I think as long as they keep those to a minimum, it’ll be fantastic. I’ve only screened the first six episodes, but if you’re interested in hearing my thoughts on the rest of the season as they become available, let me know.

RAVING REVIEW: Sometimes, you don’t know what you’re missing until you give it a chance. That was the case here, I’m a self-proclaimed geek, nerd, dork, etc., but I had never dipped my toy into the world of Dungeons and Dragons. This experience proved to me how wrong I was for not doing that sooner!

RAVING REVIEW: If you weren’t alive in the mid-80s through the early 90s, you might not have heard of this top-rated sitcom that ran for nine seasons. Although it ran in syndication on A&E, TV Land, Encore, and Laff, who knows?

RAVING REVIEW: A series worth your time if you get the opportunity. A lukewarm start quickly expands into one of the most enjoyable shows I’ve seen this year.

There have been many ups and A LOT of downs in the history of Chucky on film; the same can now be said about his time on the small screen. I feel like I should start by saying that this series doesn’t quite know who its audience is. On the one hand, you have a character created in the late 80s starring in a series made in 2021, while on the other, the show-runner is trying to recreate this character and his world for a new audience.

Normally I would hesitate to review a series until all of the episodes of that season have been released. In this case, only two episodes are available to stream with additional episodes being released each Friday. I feel that this is an exception to the rule though, WandaVision is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before, at least in some senses.
